Tell us about your company and how you partner/go to market with IGEL. How long have you been an IGEL partner?

Jason Trunk: Island and IGEL are partnering to deliver a new digital workspace where the user has one combined desktop that looks like the browser they already know and love, but it delivers web apps, office apps, and legacy apps in one space with a better, easier, and more unified user experience. This is really a case where we are better together, and customers will reap the benefits.

We’ve been partnered with IGEL for less than a year but have had a tremendous reception in the market.

Do you have any examples of customers who have benefited from using your solution with IGEL?

Jason Trunk: We currently have numerous customers and prospects with whom we’re working to deliver the continuation of the modern-day technology stack across several verticals, including healthcare, financial services, and retail.

The Island Enterprise Browser provides an alternative to the traditional physical desktop, VDI, or DaaS approaches. Our joint solution is available at a time when enterprises are facing increasing pressures and deadlines, from the sunsetting of Windows 10 to increased complexity and rising costs driven by contract work, outsourcing, BYOD, web and SaaS application adoption, and hybrid workspaces. IGEL customers using the new digital workspace will benefit from a simplified and flexible environment that gives endpoints high levels of security–all while being easier to manage and more cost-effective to deploy and support.

Why did you chose to sponsor Disrupt and what are you most fired up about the event?

Jason Trunk: As a relatively new partner of IGEL, we wanted to find a way to let the marketplace know about the partnership and to meet others within the extended IGEL network.
