IGEL Makes its Debut on the Inc. 5000, Inc. Magazine’s Annual List of America’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies

Ranking #581 on the 2020 List, IGEL Experienced Three-Year Revenue Growth of 804%

SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 13, 2020  IGEL, provider of the next-gen edge OS for cloud workspaces, today announced its debut on the Inc. 5000 list, ranking #581 on the 2020 list, which represents three-year revenue growth of 804%. Published by Inc. magazine, the Inc. 5000 list is the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. The list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent small businesses.

Led by CEO Jed Ayres, who is widely recognized for the transformational impact he is making on the end user computing industry, IGEL began its pivot from a hardware-centric to a software-first company in 2016. Today, the company aligns with the world’s most prominent cloud providers including Citrix, Microsoft and VMware, to transform end user computing by simplifying and securing the cloud-delivery of all needed applications and resources.

Ayres said, “Our industry-leading solutions are driving unprecedented growth for our business, and the investments we have made over the last three years are paying off significantly for our partners and customers. We are very excited to be making our debut on the Inc. 5000 list, and would like to thank our employees, our partners and our customers for their belief in the IGEL vision of simple, secure, device-independent delivery of cloud workspaces — anywhere. We could not have accomplished this without you by our side.”

Not only have the companies on the 2020 Inc. 5000 been very competitive within their markets, but the list as a whole shows staggering growth compared with prior lists as well. The 2020 Inc. 5000 achieved an incredible three-year average growth of over 500 percent, and a median rate of 165 percent. The Inc. 5000’s aggregate revenue was $209 billion in 2019, accounting for over 1 million jobs over the past three years.

“The companies on this year’s Inc. 5000 come from nearly every realm of business,” says Inc. editor-in-chief Scott Omelianuk. “From health and software to media and hospitality, the 2020 list proves that no matter the sector, incredible growth is based on the foundations of tenacity and opportunism.”

Complete results of the Inc. 5000, including company profiles and an interactive database that can be sorted by industry, region, and other criteria, can be found at www.inc.com/inc5000. The top 500 companies are also being featured in the September issue of Inc.
