IGEL to Showcase Secure Endpoint security and optimization Solutions During Nutanix .NEXT Europe Conference

Together with Nutanix and Citrix, IGEL Delivers a Simple, Smart and Secure End User Computing Environment with Flexible Central Management

LONDON, November 28, 2018– IGEL, a world leader in endpoint security and optimization software for the secure enterprise, today announced that it will be featuring its suite of software-defined solutions for simple, smart and secure end user computing (EUC) during the Nutanix .NEXT Europe Conference at ExCeLin London, from November 27 to 29. An event silver-level sponsor, IGEL will also be offering a fourth opportunity to win $20,000 as part of its IT Baller giveaway sweepstakes.

During the event, IGEL Global Technology Evangelist Doug Brown and Ruben Spruijt, Senior Technologist at Nutanix, will demonstrate how to “Deliver a Better User experience with IGEL,Frame, and Nutanix VDI” in the Sponsor Theater at 11am on November 29th. The 20-minute joint demonstration will show how IGEL OS is the perfect complement to Nutanix delivered virtual desktops and applications.

“For customers that use Nutanix infrastructure to support their Citrix virtual desktops, IGEL delivers powerfully simple endpoint security and optimization with unparalleled security,” saidSimon Townsend, IGEL Chief Marketing Officer for EMEA. “It’s the perfect combination for any IT team that wants to lower the total cost of ownership for their EUC estate while future-proofing their endpoint investment.”

Software-Defined Endpoint security and optimization for the Nutanix-Citrix EUC Enterprise

IGEL’s suite of software-defined endpoint security and optimization solutions, which are sold exclusively through the channel, deliver simple, smart and secure management of end user computing devices. The product suite includes the IGEL OS™, which standardizes endpoints and provides an adaptive configuration, embedded security and granular control for IT organizations that want to deliver a trouble-free workspace for their users. Expanding on the IGEL OS is the IGEL Universal Management Suite™ (UMS), a secure endpoint security and optimization solution that enables simplified management of any remote endpoint which may be extended with the IGEL Cloud Gateway™ for the unified management of any Internet-connected IGEL OS-powered endpoint, including branch office, home office and remote devices. For easy delivery, the IGEL OS™ is also offered on the IGEL UD Pocket™, a micro thin client device which provides remote and mobile workers with fast and secure access to cloud services, server-based computing applications and virtual desktops.

Among the customers using IGEL endpoint security and optimization with their Nutanix infrastructure and Citrix XenDesktop is Toppan Vintage. Toppan Vintage, headquartered in New York, is part of the Toppan Printing Group, the world’s largest printing group with approximately $14 billion in annual sales.

“The UMS is the management console we’d always hoped to find but didn’t get with our previous supplier. That’s why we switched to IGEL,” Thomas Mangan, Vice President, Information Technology and Production Design, Toppan Vintage. “I can’t say enough good things about it and, even though our fleet of UD3s isn’t in the thousands, it’s of fundamental benefit.  We define a policy and drag and drop this to individual IGEL devices or groups of installed endpoints, with firmware updates simplified too.” Read the press release here.
