IGEL – Rising, Innovating and Emerging!

innovation-award-with-carlIGEL is on the move, receiving numerous new recognitions all along the way. Following IGEL’s recent recognition by Experton Group as a “Rising Star” and The Channel Company’s CRN as the Top 2016 Tech Innovator in the PC-Workstations/Desktops Category, IGEL has now added “Emerging Vendor of the Year” to the list. The latest recognition was given by Channelnomics in its inaugural Channelnomics Innovation Awards (CIAs) on December 8.

Why is this so significant? Over the last year, we’ve worked tirelessly to invigorate our channel-centric sales engine. We’ve made significant investments that go far beyond enablement to drive true partner alignment and offer compelling incentives that empower our partners to build vibrant practices leveraging our endpoint solutions. This honor from Channelnomics underscores our growing channel success in the North American market and signifies that our channel focus is truly making a significant impact.

The award was presented to IGEL by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and author Carl Bernstein and U.S. editor of Channelnomics, Jessica Meek, during the CIA winner’s dinner held on Thursday, Dec. 8 in New York City. Other key recipients included Cisco, who received the Channel Transformation Award, Red Hat, who received the Partner Program of the Year Award, and Sophos who received the Security Vendor of the Year. You can see a full list of the Channelnomics award winners here.

Jessica Meek, U.S. editor of Channelnomics said, “We are thrilled to honor 2016’s channel innovators in our inaugural year for the Channelnomics Innovation Awards (CIAs). The CIAs recognize this year’s channel leaders spread across the vendor, distributor and solution provider community. The overwhelming number of submissions for the CIAs, plus the outstanding quality of entrants, showed us just how important these awards are to the channel, and we are delighted to be able to recognize the winners on behalf of the channel.”

We expect this to be just the beginning of a new wave of success for IGEL in the channel. As a channel-first company, IGEL’s mission is to help channel partners grow their businesses. We released our new North American Partner Program in October 2016 with overwhelming response. It offers two levels, Authorized and Platinum, which each require separate annual sales targets and staff certification requirements. The reception to the new program has been significant, with 16 partners announcing their Platinum status in the past quarter alone.

For these IGEL partners, we deliver exclusive access to robust training, support, marketing and sales resources that are designed to help them communicate the value and benefits afforded by IGEL’s endpoint technology solutions. As a result they are primed and ready to drive sales in both their hardware and software businesses, create new opportunities, fuel revenue growth and close deals faster.

Our continued emphasis on building partner success will only continue as we move into 2017. So, if you think 2016 was an award-winning year for IGEL, just wait, watch and see what we have in store in the years to come.
